Cavern Diver in worldwide: 73 instructors on TecDiveTools, with the agencies and courses each teaches, and a summary of what students say.
TecDiveTools lists 73 instructors teaching Cavern Diver worldwide.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 26 of these 73 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 26 have a written synthesis of what reviewers say about them. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
This introductory overhead environment course qualifies Advanced Open Water Divers to explore the light zone of caves—passages within sight of an exit—using guideline protocols and basic overhead techniques in a controlled, entry-level setting. You'll learn fundamental line-laying procedures, silt management, emergency protocols specific to shallow cavern environments, and self-rescue techniques. Cavern Diver is the essential entry point to overhead diving and is required before progressing to Introductory Cave or other technical specializations.
