Robin Cuesta

Sulawesi
About

Founder and general manager of Sulawesi Dive Trek. After two years teaching diving in Bali, Robin set out in 2016 to find cave diving in Indonesia, eventually surveying over 150 caves across Buton and Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi. On 1 October 2019, that exploration became Sulawesi Dive Trek, the first full cave dive center in Indonesia. In May 2026, he joined the international rescue effort for a flooded mine in Xaisomboun province, Laos, as part of the volunteer dive team assembled by fellow explorer Mikko Paasi -- covered by international press (ABC News, Divernet, and others) for his role searching the flooded system alongside fellow divers Audita Harsono and Yoshitaka Isaji.
