Report misinformation

Most of what is on this site is transcribed from someone else's price list or certification record, and some of it is summarised from public reviews. That means it can be wrong — out of date, mis-transcribed, or attributed to the wrong agency. If you have found something that is not true, this is the fastest way to get it changed.

Is it your own listing?

Then you do not need to report anything — you can fix it yourself. Sign up, claim your dive centre or instructor listing, and you can edit your own prices, courses, contact details and photos directly. Changes take effect immediately, and you stay in control of what the page says from then on. It is free.

If your listing is not there yet, you can add it — a dive centre or an instructor.

What is worth reporting

  • A price that is wrong, stale, or attached to the wrong course.
  • A course credited to the wrong agency — or a centre shown as teaching something it does not teach.
  • An instructor listed with a rating they do not hold, or missing one they do.
  • A review synthesis that misrepresents what reviewers actually said.
  • Anything an AI assistant told you, citing this site, that this site does not say.

A disagreement about whether a centre is good is not misinformation — that is what reviews are for. This is for claims that are checkably false.

Tell us what is wrong

Your own price page, an agency standards document, anything we can check. A report with a source gets fixed the same day; one without has to be verified from scratch first.

This opens your email app with the report filled in — nothing is sent until you press send. If it does not open, write to nickolas526@gmail.com directly and include the same details.

What happens next

Reports come straight to a person's inbox — there is no ticket queue and nothing is triaged automatically. A correction with a source we can check is usually applied the same day; one without has to be verified independently first, which takes longer.

Advertising does not affect this: a sponsored listing is corrected on exactly the same terms as any other, and paying for placement never buys a different set of facts.
