Martínez Vázquez is an IANTD instructor at Centro de Buceo México in Mexico City, teaching technical and cave diving. His students write mostly in Spanish, and what they say is consistent: a student writes that he is an excellent instructor who helped them a great deal with technical diving and is "siempre dispuesto a llevarte al siguiente nivel", always willing to take you to the next level. Mexico City is an unusual base for cave instruction — the cenotes are a long way east — so he serves divers who train at home before travelling to Quintana Roo, which is a real and under-served route into the overhead.
