Decompression Procedures is the foundational staged-decompression course: planning and running dives with a dedicated deco gas and mandatory stops, on open circuit, to a maximum depth of 45m/150ft over 4 dives. It teaches gas planning for a single decompression gas, in-water discipline for controlled ascents, and the contingency thinking a no-immediate-surfacing dive requires. It's for Advanced Nitrox divers ready to move from no-decompression technical diving into real staged decompression — the gateway course into TDI's deeper technical progression (Extended Range, Trimix, and most CCR decompression tracks all build on it). It's usually taken right after or alongside Advanced Nitrox, since the two share overlapping dive requirements.
