Black Water Tek
Black Water Tek is Will Goodman's TDI technical and rebreather school on Gili Trawangan, running from the Blue Marlin site on the island's east shore. It is built around the JJ-CCR: the full TDI closed-circuit ladder from Air Diluent 30m through Air Diluent and Helitrox decompression, Mixed Gas 60m and Advanced Mixed Gas 100m, plus expedition-level training for dives past 100m, for which no formal certification exists. Alongside it runs the open-circuit progression from Nitrox and Intro to Tech up to Advanced Trimix 100m, and TDI instructor ratings from Nitrox to Advanced Trimix Instructor — the shop trains instructors as well as divers, and now builds the Human Factors in Diving coursework into those programmes. Goodman has been teaching from the Gilis for twenty years and in 2014 took an unmodified JJ-CCR to 290m.

Consumables are usually extra. Sorb, helium, oxygen and other gas fills, cenote or marine-park entry fees, certification and registration fees, e-learning materials, and equipment or rebreather rental are commonly charged on top of a course price and are not always reflected above. Where a centre states what it excludes, that is noted on the item.
Course names are the centre's own — see their price list. Indicative only; confirm with the centre before booking.
