Technical diving in Malta: 38 instructors on TecDiveTools, with the agencies and courses each teaches, and a summary of what students say.
TecDiveTools lists 38 instructors teaching technical diving in Malta.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 16 of these 38 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 14 have a written synthesis of what reviewers say about them. How we read and count reviews.

TecDiveTools lists 38 technical diving instructors in Malta: Malta (22) and Gozo (16). The directory is not a census — it lists the instructors we have been able to verify, and grows as more are added.
Malta is Europe's standout technical-wreck destination. The islands are ringed by WWII wrecks and deliberately scuttled ships in clear Mediterranean water, and a series of deeper historic wrecks — warships, a submarine and aircraft — are open to technical divers as protected heritage sites. Gozo adds shore diving to caves, caverns and arches, which keeps logistics simple.
TDI (37) and GUE (1), counted by how many of the 38 instructors listed in Malta teach each. The agency sets the standards and issues the card; the instructor sets the price and schedule.
Published whole-course prices at dive centres in Malta, by training tier — Technical Sidemount: €500–€600 (4 centres); Normoxic Trimix: €900–€1,600 (4 centres); Advanced Nitrox: €450–€680 (4 centres); Technical / Advanced Wreck: €350–€820 (4 centres); Helitrox / Advanced Recreational Trimix: €550–€1,200 (4 centres). Each figure is a centre's own published price; they differ mainly in what they include (gas, equipment, dives), so compare inclusions before numbers. Every course page lists the individual prices.
