Extended Decompression in worldwide: 5 instructors on TecDiveTools, with the agencies and courses each teaches, and a summary of what students say.
TecDiveTools lists 5 instructors teaching Extended Decompression worldwide.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 4 of these 5 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 4 have a written synthesis of what reviewers say about them. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
A bridge to deeper technical diving without helium for sidemount and twinset divers in regions where trimix is unavailable. This course extends technical diving capabilities to 55 metres using compressed air as the primary breathing gas, with up to four stage cylinders containing custom nitrox blends for decompression. Students master complex multi-gas management, extended decompression obligations, nitrogen absorption and off-gassing, and deep air-based diving suitable for locations where trimix is impractical or cost-prohibitive.
