TDI Helitrox in Thailand: 14 dive centres on TecDiveTools, with agencies, courses taught and a summary of what students say. 8 publish course prices.
TecDiveTools lists 14 dive centres teaching TDI Helitrox in Thailand. 8 of them publish course prices, in the currency the shop advertises and with the date each was checked — not converted, and not estimated.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 9 of these 14 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 11 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
Helitrox teaches decompression diving using helium-blended breathing gases to manage narcosis at moderate depths. This course bridges the gap between air/nitrox and full trimix, introducing divers to helium's benefits without the complexity of deep trimix training. Graduates can plan and execute stage-decompression dives using helium mixes (up to 35% He content) alongside nitrox and oxygen decompression gases, to a maximum depth of 45m/150ft.
Students must complete 4 open-water dives (2 must exceed 30m/100ft depth) with demonstrated mastery of: helium gas physics and physiology, decompression stop calculations with multiple gas mixtures, proper equipment configuration, safe gas switches at depth, emergency procedures for decompression gas failures, and correct ascent with staged stops.
14 dive centres on TecDiveTools teach TDI Helitrox in Thailand: Bangkok (5), Koh Tao (3), Phuket (3), Pattaya (2) and Krabi (1). Each is listed above.
Koh Tao's deeper pinnacles are close enough for routine decompression training, and warm water keeps long stops comfortable. Trimix depths mean going offshore: the Gulf's technical wrecks lie at 43–75 m.
One centre in the TecDiveTools directory publishes a whole-course price for TDI Helitrox in Thailand: Tech Dive Asia, at THB 28,900. Prices differ mainly in what they include, so compare the inclusions before comparing the numbers. Prices were last checked in September 2026.
4 days, based on the durations 1 centre publishes for it in Thailand. The time depends on the centre's schedule, weather, and how quickly the required skills are demonstrated — agencies set a minimum number of dives, not a fixed number of days.
At the same tier in TecDiveTools' cross-agency comparison, dive centres in Thailand also teach IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Diver (11). They are comparable rather than interchangeable — each agency sets its own standards and card, so check which one your next course accepts.
The centres listed above teach TDI TDI Helitrox in Thailand. Requirements are set by the agency, not the centre, so they are the same wherever you train — what differs is price, class size and how much diving is included.
