Decompression in Thailand: 3 dive centres on TecDiveTools, with agencies, courses taught and a summary of what students say. 1 publish course prices.
TecDiveTools lists 3 dive centres teaching Decompression in Thailand. 1 of them publish course prices, in the currency the shop advertises and with the date each was checked — not converted, and not estimated.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 2 of these 3 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 2 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
RAID's entry-level technical diving course introducing staged decompression with one decompression gas (up to 100% oxygen). Students master multi-gas breathing strategies, proper ascent planning, and gas consumption calculations for dives requiring mandatory decompression stops. Using sidemount or twinset configurations, divers learn equipment setup, bailout procedures, and the foundational technical skills necessary to venture beyond recreational no-decompression limits and access deeper wreck and open-water exploration sites.
The centres listed above teach RAID Decompression in Thailand. Requirements are set by the agency, not the centre, so they are the same wherever you train — what differs is price, class size and how much diving is included.
3 dive centres on TecDiveTools teach RAID Decompression in Thailand: Koh Tao (1), Pattaya (1) and Phuket (1). Each is listed above.
Koh Tao's deeper pinnacles are close enough for routine decompression training, and warm water keeps long stops comfortable. Trimix depths mean going offshore: the Gulf's technical wrecks lie at 43–75 m.
One centre in the TecDiveTools directory publishes a whole-course price for RAID Decompression in Thailand: Tech Dive Asia, at THB 24,900. Prices differ mainly in what they include, so compare the inclusions before comparing the numbers. Prices were last checked in September 2026.
Between 2 and 3 days, based on the durations 1 centre publishes for it in Thailand. The time depends on the centre's schedule, weather, and how quickly the required skills are demonstrated — agencies set a minimum number of dives, not a fixed number of days.
At the same tier in TecDiveTools' cross-agency comparison, dive centres in Thailand also teach TDI Advanced Nitrox (24), PADI TecRec Tec 40 (2) and SSI XR Extended Range Nitrox Diving (1). They are comparable rather than interchangeable — each agency sets its own standards and card, so check which one your next course accepts.
