Cave 2 in Thailand: 1 dive centre on TecDiveTools, with agencies, courses taught and a summary of what students say.
TecDiveTools lists 1 dive centre teaching Cave 2 in Thailand.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 1 of these 1 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 1 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
An advanced cave course building on entanglement rescue and line repair skills from Cave 1, with enhanced navigation and stage bottle deployment techniques. Students master complex team dynamics in cave environments, deploy and manage decompression stage bottles, and develop advanced problem-solving for failures in confined overhead spaces. The course introduces advanced cave navigation techniques and rescue procedures suited to longer, more complex cave systems requiring extended decompression and stage management. This certification opens access to deeper cave passages and expedition-level exploration.
Demonstrate stage bottle deployment and management, advanced entanglement rescue procedures, complex line work and navigation, multi-diver team coordination in cave environments, extended decompression procedures, and advanced problem-solving under stress.
The centres listed above teach RAID Cave 2 in Thailand. Requirements are set by the agency, not the centre, so they are the same wherever you train — what differs is price, class size and how much diving is included.

Thailand's caves are a step up from showcase training systems: Khao Sok's limestone caves and the deep sinkholes of Sra Keow near Krabi and Song Hong in Trang combine depth with overhead, and see far fewer divers than the Yucatán. They suit divers who want to build cave skills in more challenging conditions — and Phuket, Krabi and Khao Sok keep a cave course within reach of a beach holiday.
At the same tier in TecDiveTools' cross-agency comparison, dive centres in Thailand also teach TDI Full Cave (14), IANTD Cave Diver (9) and ANDI Full Cave (1). They are comparable rather than interchangeable — each agency sets its own standards and card, so check which one your next course accepts.
