Technical diving in Panglao & Bohol: 8 instructors on TecDiveTools, with the agencies and courses each teaches, and a summary of what students say.
TecDiveTools lists 8 instructors teaching technical diving in Panglao & Bohol, Philippines.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 1 of these 8 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 1 have a written synthesis of what reviewers say about them. How we read and count reviews.

The Philippines combines some of Asia's most accessible wreck diving with remarkably diverse reefs. Coron holds the fleet of Japanese ships sunk in a single air raid in September 1944, and its deepest, the Irako, lies entirely below 28 m with its keel at about 43 m — a decompression wreck with large holds and an engine room to penetrate. Around them are world-class reefs and marine life — Anilao's macro, Malapascua's thresher sharks, Moalboal's walls — with short travel distances and warm water.
TDI (8), counted by how many of the 8 instructors listed in Panglao & Bohol, Philippines teach each. The agency sets the standards and issues the card; the instructor sets the price and schedule.
Diving runs all year, but the typhoon season (roughly June to November) can cancel boat days, especially in the north and around Coron. For most regions the calmest months are roughly December to May.
Around 26–30°C most of the year; a 3 mm wetsuit is usual, with more insulation for long decompression. Thermoclines around Anilao and Malapascua can feel noticeably cooler at depth.
