Extended Range in the Philippines: 22 dive centres on TecDiveTools, with agencies, courses taught and a summary of what students say. 2 publish course prices.
TecDiveTools lists 22 dive centres teaching Extended Range in the Philippines. 2 of them publish course prices, in the currency the shop advertises and with the date each was checked — not converted, and not estimated.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 15 of these 22 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 10 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
Extended Range pushes staged decompression diving further than the base Decompression Procedures course, requiring dives past 33m/100ft with at least 2 dives deeper than 40m/130ft on a single decompression gas. It teaches more advanced gas planning, longer runtimes, and the added risk management that comes with deeper no-mistakes diving. It's aimed at divers who've already got Decompression Procedures under their belt and want to extend their working depth before moving into trimix. It sits between Decompression Procedures and Trimix Diver in TDI's technical progression — the natural next step once a diver is comfortable running shorter deco dives. It's open-circuit diving with doubles or sidemount and a dedicated decompression gas, and it opens the door to Advanced Trimix and deeper wreck/cave specialties.
The centres listed above teach TDI Extended Range in Philippines. Requirements are set by the agency, not the centre, so they are the same wherever you train — what differs is price, class size and how much diving is included.
22 dive centres on TecDiveTools teach TDI Extended Range in the Philippines: Moalboal (4), Puerto Galera (3), Anilao (2), Cebu (2), Coron (2) and Dauin (2), and 5 more. Each is listed above.
Walls off Moalboal and the drop-off beyond Malapascua's Monad Shoal reach technical depths close to shore, and Coron's Irako gives deep decompression dives a wreck to work on.
One centre in the TecDiveTools directory publishes a whole-course price for TDI Extended Range in the Philippines: Tech Asia, at ₱54,000. Prices differ mainly in what they include, so compare the inclusions before comparing the numbers. Prices were last checked in September 2026.
4 days, based on the durations 1 centre publishes for it in the Philippines. The time depends on the centre's schedule, weather, and how quickly the required skills are demonstrated — agencies set a minimum number of dives, not a fixed number of days.
At the same tier in TecDiveTools' cross-agency comparison, dive centres in the Philippines also teach RAID Advanced Decompression (1) and RAID Extended Decompression (1). They are comparable rather than interchangeable — each agency sets its own standards and card, so check which one your next course accepts.
