Cave 2 in Mexico: 2 dive centres on TecDiveTools, with agencies, courses taught and a summary of what students say. 1 publish course prices.
TecDiveTools lists 2 dive centres teaching Cave 2 in Mexico. 1 of them publish course prices, in the currency the shop advertises and with the date each was checked — not converted, and not estimated.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 2 of these 2 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 1 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
An advanced cave course building on entanglement rescue and line repair skills from Cave 1, with enhanced navigation and stage bottle deployment techniques. Students master complex team dynamics in cave environments, deploy and manage decompression stage bottles, and develop advanced problem-solving for failures in confined overhead spaces. The course introduces advanced cave navigation techniques and rescue procedures suited to longer, more complex cave systems requiring extended decompression and stage management. This certification opens access to deeper cave passages and expedition-level exploration.
Demonstrate stage bottle deployment and management, advanced entanglement rescue procedures, complex line work and navigation, multi-diver team coordination in cave environments, extended decompression procedures, and advanced problem-solving under stress.

2 dive centres on TecDiveTools teach RAID Cave 2 in Mexico: Akumal (1) and Playa del Carmen (1). Each is listed above.
The cenotes are the benchmark place to train: around 24–25°C, very clear, with daylight cavern zones for a first course and some of the longest mapped cave systems in the world for full cave and beyond. The number of entrances and the variety of passage — decorated, wide, low, haloclined — let you train on different cave profiles in a single trip.
At the same tier in TecDiveTools' cross-agency comparison, dive centres in Mexico also teach TDI Full Cave (61), IANTD Cave Diver (28), NSS-CDS Cave Diver (2) and PSAI Full Cave Diver (1). They are comparable rather than interchangeable — each agency sets its own standards and card, so check which one your next course accepts.
