Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 1 of these 1 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 0 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
A technical cave diving course introducing basic cave-zone skills and advanced line work in overhead environments. Students learn proper finning techniques to minimize silt, guideline navigation, entanglement rescue, and emergency procedures specific to cave diving. The course emphasizes non-silt propulsion, proper weighting, and buoyancy control essential for confined underwater passages where ascent to the surface is not an option. This intermediate overhead course builds on cavern training to develop divers capable of deeper cave exploration with enhanced technical skills.
Demonstrate advanced buoyancy control with precision hovering, non-silt propulsion techniques, guideline navigation and reel management, entanglement rescue procedures, buddy communication in overhead environments, and emergency response in confined spaces.
