Trimix in Egypt: 19 dive centres on TecDiveTools, with agencies, courses taught and a summary of what students say. 6 publish course prices.
TecDiveTools lists 19 dive centres teaching Trimix in Egypt. 6 of them publish course prices, in the currency the shop advertises and with the date each was checked — not converted, and not estimated.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 14 of these 19 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 11 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

About the course
Trimix is TDI's foundational mixed-gas course, teaching divers to plan and execute decompression dives using custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen breathing gas mixtures. This course bridges Extended Range and deeper technical diving, introducing divers to trimix theory, helium physiology, staged decompression on multiple gas mixes, and the procedures for managing hypoxic and normoxic blends. Graduates can conduct trimix dives to 60m/200ft with proper decompression support.
Students complete 4 decompression dives using trimix as bottom gas (100+ minutes accumulated bottom time; 2 dives must exceed 40m/130ft depth), demonstrating mastery of: trimix gas physics and physiology, decompression calculations on multiple gas mixes, proper equipment configuration, safe gas switches at depth, emergency ascent procedures, and staged decompression execution.
The centres listed above teach TDI Trimix in Egypt. Requirements are set by the agency, not the centre, so they are the same wherever you train — what differs is price, class size and how much diving is included.
19 dive centres on TecDiveTools teach TDI Trimix in Egypt: Dahab (11), Sharm el-Sheikh (5), Hurghada (2) and Safaga (1). Each is listed above.
Dahab is known for deep training from shore — no boat schedule and easy repeat dives on walls that drop far beyond technical depths. Its Blue Hole is also notorious for deaths among divers who attempt its deep arch without the training and gas for it, which is exactly why structured trimix training matters here.
Published prices for TDI Trimix in Egypt range across 4 centres in the TecDiveTools directory. That is €850–€935 (4 centres). Prices differ mainly in what they include, so compare the inclusions before comparing the numbers. Prices were last checked in September 2026.
Between 4 and 5 days, based on the durations 2 centres publish for it in Egypt. The time depends on the centre's schedule, weather, and how quickly the required skills are demonstrated — agencies set a minimum number of dives, not a fixed number of days.
