About the course
Instructor certification for teaching TDI's Nitrox Gas Blending course to shop staff, fill-station operators, and recreational/technical divers. Trains instructors in nitrox mixing theory, partial-pressure blending methods, oxygen-handling safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Graduates can teach Nitrox Gas Blending and move toward Advanced Gas Blending Instructor rating.
Instructor candidates must demonstrate mastery of partial-pressure blending calculations, gas analysis, oxygen safety, tank preparation/labeling, and regulatory requirements. Must teach required classroom/briefing hours and evaluate student competency in all blending procedures.
