Technical diving in Egypt: 30 dive centres on TecDiveTools, with agencies, courses taught and a summary of what students say. 7 publish course prices.
No dive centres here offer CCR Advanced EANx Diver, so that filter was removed.
TecDiveTools lists 30 dive centres teaching technical diving in Egypt. 7 of them publish course prices, in the currency the shop advertises and with the date each was checked — not converted, and not estimated.
Listings are ordered by how much evidence exists about their technical diving, not by a star rating, with any paid Featured listing shown first and marked as such (how rankings work). 20 of these 30 carry reviews we have read and classified as being about technical or overhead training. The count excludes recreational certifications by name, so a busy resort does not outrank a one-instructor cave operation on the volume of its reef trips. Separately, 12 have at least one instructor whose reviews we have read and summarised — a dive centre carries no synthesis of its own. How we read and count reviews.

TecDiveTools lists 30 dive centres teaching technical diving in Egypt: Dahab (16), Sharm el-Sheikh (6), Hurghada (3), Safaga (2), Cairo (1) and El Quseir (1), and 1 more region. The directory is not a census — it lists the centres we have been able to verify, and grows as more are added.
Egypt's Red Sea pairs deep, clear water close to shore with genuine technical wrecks. Dahab offers deep shore diving where decompression and trimix training need no boat; near Hurghada, the Rosalie Moller sits upright at about 50 m, beyond recreational reach; and liveaboards reach the Numidia at Big Brother, which runs from 8 m to about 80 m. Visibility is often excellent.
TDI (27), IANTD (6), GUE (2) and ANDI (1), counted by how many of the 30 dive centres listed in Egypt teach each. 15 teach more than one agency. The agency sets the standards and issues the card; the centre sets the price and schedule. Recreational training (PADI, SSI and SDI) is taught too and is not counted here.
Published whole-course prices at dive centres in Egypt, by training tier — Advanced Nitrox / Decompression Procedures: €425–€600 (7 centres); Advanced Nitrox: €370–€500 (7 centres); Extended Range: €600–€850 (7 centres); Technical Sidemount: €400–€700 (7 centres); Normoxic Trimix: €700–€3,000 (6 centres). Each figure is a centre's own published price; they differ mainly in what they include (gas, equipment, dives), so compare inclusions before numbers. Every course page lists the individual prices.
Yes — 12 of the 30 dive centres listed in Egypt teach rebreather courses. Most often: TDI Air Diluent CCR (11), TDI Air Diluent CCR Decompression Procedures (11), TDI Helitrox CCR Decompression Procedures (8) and TDI Helitrox CCR (7). CCR training is unit-specific, so check which units a listing supports.
Diving is year-round, with hot summers and cooler winters; strong northerly winds can close some exposed boat sites.
In the northern Red Sea the water runs from about 21–22°C in winter to 28°C or more in summer. Many technical divers use a drysuit in winter for long decompression and a 5–7 mm wetsuit in summer.
