RCCR DPV Diver
Combines recreational CCR rebreather diving with diver propulsion vehicles (DPVs/scooters), teaching efficient movement underwater while managing rebreather systems. Covers DPV pre-dive checks, towing and towed techniques, energy management, buoyancy control with DPV, and maintaining CCR performance during powered movement. Opens access to longer-distance recreational dives, wreck surveys, and exploration sites where DPV efficiency is advantageous.
Prerequisites
Listed on IANTD website as RCCR course but detailed diver prerequisites not available from official IANTD program pages. Likely requires Recreational CCR Diver certification and Advanced Open Water qualification with 25+ logged rebreather dives.
