Tec 50 Instructor
Earn the instructor certification to train technical divers in extended-range diving at the Tec 50 level. As a Tec 50 Instructor, you'll guide students through complex decompression, deep narcosis management, and advanced gas calculations. You'll develop comprehensive teaching skills for both classroom decompression theory and supervised deep open-water dives that may require multiple hours of staged decompression. This qualification enables you to conduct Discover Tec programs and teach across the Tec Basics, Tec 40, Tec 45, and Tec 50 course levels.
Prerequisites
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty Instructor, PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor, 25 EANx dives deeper than 30m, Tec 50 Diver certification, 10 decompression dives in full technical equipment. Enrollment: 250 logged dives (25 decompression dives deeper than 40m); certification: assisted with two Tec 50 or one Tec 45 and one Tec 50 course
