Performance Diver Instructor
This course trains instructors to teach the Performance Diver specialty—advanced diving techniques and methodologies that help divers maximize underwater capabilities through superior body positioning, finning efficiency, streamlining, and reduced gas consumption. Instructors learn body mechanics and hydrodynamic principles, finning techniques and power efficiency, trim and positioning, streamlining and drag reduction, and teaching methodologies for correcting common inefficiencies. Performance Diver training benefits all student levels and serves as a foundation for technical training readiness. Successful instructors attract smooth, confident, and efficient divers from both recreational and entry-level technical communities.
Prerequisites
Minimum 18 years old; RAID Open Water Instructor or RAID Divemaster certification; currently certified as a diver in the Performance specialty; complete registration with mandatory documentation.
