Instructor Development Program
RAID's core Instructor Development Program (IDP) is the foundational teaching pathway that transforms a certified Divemaster into a RAID Open Circuit Instructor, establishing competency in teaching methodology, RAID standards, student evaluation, and dive leadership. The course covers teaching theory and communication, student assessment and progression, confined-water teaching techniques, open-water supervision and evaluation, and emergency management. Candidates complete academic study, confined-water practice teaching, and evaluated open-water teaching sessions with oversight from an IDP Instructor.
