GUE Advanced Oxygen First Aid & Neuro
This advanced first aid course extends basic oxygen administration with resuscitation techniques including manual triggered ventilators (resuscitation valves) and bag valve masks. Taught in partnership with Divers Alert Network (DAN) Europe, the course combines advanced oxygen administration with on-site neurological assessment protocols for dive emergencies. Designed for rescue personnel, dive professionals, and anyone needing skills to support injured divers while awaiting emergency services. Complements BLS-D training and forms part of GUE's medical response progression.
Prerequisites
Current DAN Oxygen Provider or GUE-DAN BLS-D & Oxygen First Aid certification required. Must be physically and mentally fit, non-smoker.
