Full Face Mask
Diving in a full face mask rather than a conventional mask and separate second stage. Covers fitting and sealing the mask, positive and negative pressure checks, switching to a backup air source, mask removal and replacement at depth, and the surface and underwater communication a full face mask makes possible. Common in commercial, public-safety and cold-water diving, and increasingly on rebreathers.
Prerequisites
PADI Open Water Diver. Minimum age 12.
