Deep 40 Instructor
A specialty instructor course for teaching deep recreational diving to 40 metres. Instructor candidates learn to guide recreational divers safely into deeper waters, teaching nitrogen narcosis awareness, proper weighting strategies, and deep dive physiology relevant to recreational diving. This course equips instructors to expand their teaching capabilities, helping recreational divers build confidence and competence in deeper recreational environments and progress safely into deeper recreational diving practices.
Prerequisites
Minimum 18 years old. Current RAID Open Water Instructor certification. Current RAID Divemaster status or equivalent. Certification in the deep diving specialty. No detailed minimum dive requirements are publicly specified on RAID's website. Contact a RAID centre for complete enrollment details.
