Compressor Operator Instructor
An instructor specialty course for teaching gas compressor operation and maintenance—a land-based, non-diving technical skill essential for dive operations. Instructor candidates learn to guide students through safe compressor operation, routine maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting common mechanical issues. This course prepares instructors to certify divers and non-divers in the safe operation of dive gas production equipment, a critical skill for dive shops, expedition support, and remote diving operations.
Prerequisites
Minimum 18 years old. Certified and current RAID Open Water Instructor. Certified and current RAID Divemaster (for courses a Divemaster can teach). Certified as a diver in the compressor operator specialty. Complete registration and mandatory documentation.
