Casella founded Cenotexperience in 2007, has logged more than ten thousand dives, and is a TDI full cave instructor teaching in Spanish, English and French. Born in Córdoba, he moved to Mexico in 2003 and has been diving the Quintana Roo systems since. The pattern in his reviews is progression over years rather than a single course: divers describe using him first for guided cenote dives, being impressed enough to come back for cavern, and then returning again for intro and full cave — one says explicitly that the guided diving is what decided them on where to train. ScubaBoard shows the same, with divers booking cave training with him months in advance and naming him when asked for sidemount cave recommendations in the Puerto Aventuras area. What reviewers single out is adaptation to the individual. One long-standing student credits him with reconfiguring harness hardware around a shoulder injury so the training could continue rather than being abandoned, which is the kind of detail that does not appear in a generic review. Others describe clear, well-paced classroom presentations — the theory taught properly rather than skimmed — and a genuine investment in cave conservation that comes through in how the sites are treated.
