Bordignon is an Italian cave instructor who began diving in 1997, turned professional in 2002, and has lived in Mexico since 2007. He teaches at Cave World in Puerto Aventuras, specialising in full cave, sidemount and DPV cave diving. In the forums he is known — under the nickname the Honeybadger — as a reference point for sidemount specifically, coming up in a ScubaBoard discussion of caves that can only be dived in sidemount because of their restrictions, which is the end of the discipline where sidemount stops being a preference and becomes the only way through. He also appears in Yucatán site and cenote threads. Few students have written about him directly, but he is mentioned warmly in other operations' reviews — including as the guide Ghost Divers hand clients to when their own instructors are booked.
