Reviewers credit Carlos with serving as a cavern instructor during full cave diver certification, and with guiding technically demanding deep cenote dives — including navigating hydrogen sulfide layers — with clear explanations of what divers were seeing. He's consistently described as knowledgeable and safety-focused in overhead environments.
